It is now winter time in Vienna. The clocks are turned back one hour, which makes me feel like I'm getting some benefit from the change. But it also means that the sun sets earlier. Today the sun sets at 16:34, which is a surprising difference as it is almost 21:00 in June.
By the way, the Old City of Vienna has been very busy with tourists lately, almost like it's going back to the days before the pandemie. There are queues in front of the well-known Sacher and Demel. Vienna is known for its security, but as the number of tourists increases, pickpockets and thieves are something to watch out for.
We often hear stories of pickpockets on the famous Kärntner Street or people having their bags stolen inside cafés, so please be careful.
